Don't you hate when life gets in the way of the routine that you have established and then you realize like three weeks later that you have not posted to your blog for a while? Well that is what happened to me. I somehow managed to get out of my routine of sitting down to blog on the weekends.
In our ECS311 class, we have had many opportunities for group and partner work. One of the assignments that we have been given is working in small groups in an inquiry to find resources that can help to teach the subject area that was chosen. The group I am in decided to inquiry into Physical Education, specifically creating a Physical Education class that is inclusive to students of a variety of abilities so that they can all be successful.
We created a list of specific questions that we are going to try to find the answers to. these include:
-How can we as educators have a successful physical education class, while still challenging those students to the best of their abilities?
-How to keep P.E. inclusive (especially with students with physical needs)
-How to make P.E. engaging for everyone?
-How to do cross-curricular planning
-How to use space that is not the gym to do physical education
